Terms & Conditions

Welcome to NOCO Accents! We aim to ensure a smooth remodeling experience for our clients. Please read our Terms & Conditions carefully to understand our policies before engaging our services.

Quote

A quote from NOCO Accents constitutes an offer to facilitate and coordinate the work described at the specified contract price. All quotes, including any revisions, are valid for 28 days from the date of issue or until the next Bulk Procurement Order (BPO) is placed, whichever occurs first. After this period, NOCO Accents reserves the right to adjust pricing and terms as necessary. After this period, prices may change. Each revised quote will detail the proposed work, and only items explicitly stated in the quote will be included in the project.

Deposit & Final Payment

To formally engage NOCO Accents, a non-refundable initial deposit is required 14 to 60 days before work commences. This deposit signifies your acceptance of these terms and the project specifications as outlined in the most recent CAD render or agreement.

NOCO Accents may request draw payments at any time to ensure uninterrupted progress. The remaining balance is due promptly upon project completion and client approval during the final walk-through. If final payment is not received within seven (7) calendar days of the due date, a late payment interest charge of 8% will apply to the unpaid balance, in accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes § 5-12-102.

Draw Payment Policy

Work Suspension Due to Non-Payment

Clients acknowledge that timely draw payments are essential for the uninterrupted progress of the project. If a draw payment is not made when requested by NOCO Accents, work on the project will be paused until the outstanding draw payment has been received. NOCO Accents will provide written notice of the payment due, and work will resume promptly upon receipt of the required payment.

Permits

Clients are responsible for all permit and licensing fees, which may vary by county and municipality. Upon receipt of these fees, NOCO Accents will forward the amounts along with any applicable convenience charges.

Inspections

Clients will be notified in advance of scheduled inspections. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that someone is present at the property for the entire inspection day. Failure to provide access may result in a failed inspection, which may lead to additional fees.

Change Order Policy

At NOCO Accents, we prioritize meeting your expectations. For any modifications to the original scope of work:

Definition

A Change Order is a formal document outlining changes in scope, materials, or timelines.

Request Process

Clients must submit a written request detailing the change, reasons, and any relevant deadlines.

Review and Approval

NOCO Accents will assess the proposed changes and their impact on costs and timelines, providing a response accordingly.

Cost Implications

Approved Change Orders will incur additional costs, and full payment is required before implementation.

Timeline Adjustments

Changes may affect the project schedule, and we will communicate necessary adjustments.

Finalization

Change Orders must be signed by both parties and payment in full to be valid.

Supply and Material Delay Policy

While we strive to deliver projects on time, unforeseen delays can occur due to:

  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Material shortages
  • Transportation delays
  • Weather events or labor shortages
Communication

In the event of a delay, NOCO Accents will notify clients promptly, detailing the nature of the delay and its expected impact on the project timeline. Regular updates will be provided during significant delays.

Impact on Timelines

Delays may necessitate adjustments to the project schedule. We encourage clients to remain flexible and understanding during these times.

Allowances in Remodeling

Allowances are a vital aspect of the remodeling process with NOCO Accents, providing clients with flexibility and clarity in budgeting for various elements of their project. This phase encompasses several key components:

Defining Allowances

NOCO Accents will establish clear allowances for specific categories such as fixtures, finishes, and materials. This ensures that clients have a predetermined budget for these items, allowing for informed decision-making throughout the remodeling process.

Customization Options

Clients will have the opportunity to customize their selections within the defined allowances. Whether it’s choosing tile, cabinetry, or appliances, we encourage clients to explore options that fit their style and preferences while remaining within budget.

Cost Management

We will monitor and manage costs associated with allowances closely. If clients choose selections that exceed the established allowance, they will be responsible for paying the difference. We will provide transparent updates, allowing clients to make informed choices about adjustments or upgrades.

Budget Clarity

Importantly, NOCO Accents is committed to providing clear communication regarding allowances. We will outline all allowances in the project proposal, ensuring clients understand what is included and how it impacts the overall budget.

Efficient Project Execution

By incorporating allowances into the remodeling process, we aim to streamline decision-making and minimize delays. This structured approach allows the project to progress smoothly, ensuring that timelines are met without compromising quality.

In summary, allowances play a crucial role in the remodeling process, offering clients flexibility and transparency in budgeting. NOCO Accents is dedicated to managing these allowances effectively, ensuring a seamless and satisfying remodeling experience.
