Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions. We want to ensure that things run smoothly and that you have a clear understanding before doing business with us.

Quote

A quote from NOCO Accents is an offer to the customer to facilitate and coordinate the work described for the specified contract price. Quotes, including any revisions, are valid for 28 days from the date of issue, after which prices cannot be guaranteed. Each revised quote will provide a detailed description of the proposed work. Only the items and features expressly stated in the quote will be included in the work.

Deposit & Final Payment

Deposit & Final Payment

To accept the services outlined in the quote and engage NOCO Accents, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the quoted amount is required 14 – 45 days before work commences. Payment of the deposit indicates the homeowner's acceptance of these terms and the project specifications outlined in the most recent iteration of the CAD draft, unless otherwise specified. Following the completion of 75% of the project, an additional 25% payment may be requested. The final payment of the remaining 25% is to be made promptly upon the project's final completion, specifically upon the conclusion and client approval of the final walk-through. If the final payment is not received within the agreed-upon time frame, an interest charge of 8%, in line with Colorado law, will be applied, with such charges taking effect after 7 days of non-payment.

Permits

All clients are responsible for their respective permit and licensing fees, which may vary by county and municipality. Upon receipt of these fees, NOCO Accents will promptly forward the amounts, along with any applicable convenience charges.

 

Inspections

Clients will be notified in advance of any scheduled inspections. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that someone is present at the property for the entire day of the inspection. Please note that additional inspectors may arrive on the same day, or follow-up visits may be required. Failure to provide access to the property during the scheduled inspection may result in a failed inspection, which could lead to additional fees being added to the final quote.

Cancellation

Cancellation Policy for NOCO Accents

At NOCO Accents, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to provide flexibility while ensuring fairness to both our clients and our team. The following cancellation policy applies to all remodeling projects:

​

  1. Cancellation Before Work Commences:

    • If a client chooses to cancel the project prior to the start of any work, a written notice must be provided.

    • Any initial deposit or retainer paid will be refunded, minus a 15% administrative fee or any costs incurred for materials, planning, or design work already completed.

  2. Cancellation After Work Has Begun:

    • If a project is canceled after work has commenced, the client will be responsible for payment covering all labor, materials, and expenses incurred up to the date of cancellation.

    • Additionally, a cancellation fee of 20% of the remaining project balance will apply to account for schedule disruptions and lost opportunities.

  3. Special-Order Materials:

    • Any special-order materials that have been purchased specifically for the project are non-refundable. The client will be responsible for full payment of these items regardless of the cancellation date.

  4. Change Orders Leading to Cancellation:

    • If significant changes to the scope of work result in project cancellation, the above terms will still apply.

  5. Notice Period:

    • A minimum of 7 business days' notice is required for cancellations to avoid additional charges. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in additional fees.

  6. Refund Processing:

    • Refunds for eligible amounts will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation date.

This policy is designed to protect both our clients and our team while maintaining transparency and fairness throughout the process. If you have any questions or require clarification, please feel free to reach out to us directly.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the initial estimate is required 14 to 45 days before the start of work. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the invoice date upon completion of the work.

 

Disputes

Any disputes regarding the invoice or work must be submitted in writing within five days of the invoice date. Payment is due if no written notification of a dispute is received within this period. Disputes will be addressed internally initially, with interest accruing as specified above.

 

Variations and Extras

Any unforeseen work or variations will be agreed upon before commencement, with a fixed quotation provided where possible. Otherwise, a day rate of $55.00 per hour for carpentry work and $55.00 per hour for joinery work will apply, plus materials at cost + 15%.

 

Decoration

Our quotations do not include decoration, unless otherwise stated.

 

Rubbish Disposal

The cost of disposing of unwanted items is typically included in the written quotation. However, NOCO Accents is not responsible for removing hazardous waste such as asbestos, gas canisters, mold, fridges, and freezers.

 

Important Notes

While all due care will be taken, NOCO Accents is not responsible for any cracking or damage caused by movement or vibration during the work. Please inform us of the location of any cables, pipes, water stop cocks, and fuse boxes before work begins. The company is not liable for defects arising from any drawing, design, or specification the customer provides.

 

Work Space

Please ensure there is ample space for NOCO Accents to work. Unless otherwise agreed, the work area should be clear of personal belongings. We provide dust sheets, and our tools have professional dust extraction ports, but some fine dust may settle after work. Please remove fragile or easily damaged belongings.

 

Coordination Fee

NOCO Accents charges a coordination fee to facilitate all projects. This fee covers the planning, scheduling, and management of your project to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.

 

Media

NOCO Accents take pictures of the progress of our projects. We reserve the right to use these pictures in our portfolio of work, on our website and on various social media websites for marketing and information purposes. Please let us know via email at the start of your work if you are not happy with this.

 

SMS Terms and Conditions

NOCO Accents is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) outlines how we handle the Personal Information that we collect and receive from you in connection with your use of our SMS Service (“Service”), which is provided through a third-party service provider. This Policy is part of our Terms of Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy. NOCO Accents reserves the right to modify or change this Policy at any time, with or without prior notice to you. The date of the last update will be posted at the top of this Policy for your convenience. This Policy, along with any changes, becomes effective as soon as it is posted. Your continued use of the Service following any changes to the Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

“Personal Information” refers to information that identifies you individually, such as your mobile phone number or user/screen name, as well as any Personal Information you choose to include in messages sent through the Service.

What Personal Information is collected about you

Through the use of the Service, NOCO Accents will receive information from our third-party service provider, including your mobile phone number when you send a text message to us, the text of messages sent to other users of the Service, any user or screen name you select in connection with the Service, and any comments or feedback regarding the Service that you send to us.

We use Personal Information to (a) provide you with the Service, (b) process and respond to inquiries, (c) improve the Service, (d) contact you with important announcements or messages if necessary, (e) conduct research, and (f) provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients and partners.

Each message you send through the Service (either to us or other users) is stored on our servers. We retain these messages on our servers, which utilize third-party services.

- Updates regarding upcoming bookings, booking acknowledgement, order updates.

- We have your consent.
- We need to enforce our Terms of Service.
- We provide such information to trusted businesses or persons for processing Personal Information on our behalf, subject to agreements obligating them to process such information only on our instructions and in compliance with this Policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures. If the third party fails to comply with our terms, NOCO Accents is not accountable for any liability or reimbursement.
- We provide such information to third parties who have entered into non-disclosure agreements with us.
- We provide such information to a company controlled by, or under common control with, NOCO Accents for any purpose permitted by this Policy.
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
- We believe it is necessary to share Personal Information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to physical safety, violations of NOCO Accents’ Terms of Service, or as required by law.
- We may share aggregated information with others without further notice. For example, the number of people who used the Service in a given month or the total number of texts sent in a given week.

 

Security

NOCO Accents takes precautions to ensure the security of your Personal Information, including ensuring that our third-party service providers protect its security. However, we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorized personnel will not gain access to your Personal Information despite our efforts. Note that using the Service means your information will travel through third-party infrastructures not under our control (such as a third-party SMS delivery platform or your carrier network).

We cannot protect, nor does this Policy apply to, any information you transmit to other users. You should never transmit personal or identifying information to other users.

 

How to Opt-In

A mobile user might opt-in by:

- Entering a phone number online in our contact form,
- Sending a Mobile Originating (MO) message containing an advertising keyword, or
- Filling out a paper form that includes their phone number.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and vice versa. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

NOCO Accents’ third-party service provider allows you to opt out of the Service for any reason. You can opt out by texting “STOP”. After sending “STOP” to us, we will confirm your unsubscription via SMS. You will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you sign up again. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and vice versa.
 

We reserve the right to send certain communications related to the Service, such as announcements and administrative messages, without offering an opt-out option.
 

​To stop receiving messages, text 'STOP' to 303-879-3595. Once you opt out, no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in by resubscribing.

Message Frequency

By opting in, you agree to receive recurring messages. These may include weekly updates, monthly updates, or notifications for events as they occur. Message and data rates may apply.
